One of the objectives of the Association is to have OPA's own building, as formulated by the founder members of the Association, more than 28 years ago. In 1993 OP Mohd Razali bin Abd Rahman (Ex-D Coy, 1964-1967)  offered a piece of land in Saujana to site the OPA Building. The size of the land is approximately 0.51 acres and is located at Lot 91, in the Saujana Resort area. On 3 Jan 97  the land was officially handed over  to the OPA.

Through various fund raising activities  a tidy sum of RM 4,036,616 inclusive of RM 2 million from OP Ling's "Ringgit for Ringgit" pledge, has been collected. Another RM 957,155 in pledges are also due for collection. With the RM 5 million target almost achieved, OP Ling Liong Sik performed the ground breaking ceremony on Friday, 3rd January 1997, attended by OPs from around Kuala Lumpur and some from as far as Perlis.

The OPA Building site was handed over to the successful contractor on 15 Mar 99. The target date for the completion and handing over of the OPA Building is end of April 2000. The fruits of their labour are manifested in the OPA finally realising its dream come on April 2000.
